Mercy Ruan Neurology Clinic
Who sees a neurologist?
You may need to see a neurologist if you have been examined by a physician and told
that your symptoms are neurological in nature. If appropriate, test results will
be forwarded for the neurologist's review. You will then schedule an appointment
with the neurologist for an exam. More specific tests may be ordered as needed.
Once all the tests are reviewed, you and the neurologist will plan the treatment
and you will return to your primary care physician for continued care. You may need
to see the neurologist periodically to be evaluated for the benefit of your treatment.
Neurologic disorders take many forms. We treat patients who have:
- Alzheimer's Disease
- Headaches
- Epilepsy
- Multiple Sclerosis
- Parkinson's Disease
- Movement Disorders
- Neuromuscular Diseases
- Neuropathy
- Stroke
