Can I get a Shingles
Vaccine?
We
provide the vaccine for shingles (Zostavax) for our
established patients.
The
shingles vaccine is not covered by Part B Medicare, but it
is often covered under your part D Medicare (Pharmacy) plan
or private insurance plan.
We
are able to provide this to many of our patients here in our
office using Medicare Part D plan through our participation
with eDispense.
How do I get medication
refills?
If
you are on routine medications for conditions such as
diabetes or high blood pressure, your provider will usually
prescribe enough medicine until your next visit. Please
don’t stop taking any of your medications without talking
with your provider.
A
few days before you need a refill, please call the pharmacy
and they will contact us.

What is a Population
Health Coach?
Our
clinic employs a Population Health Coach. Our coach helps
patients set goals for better health. She helps patients
with chronic illnesses learn how to manage their health
problems, so they may be as well as possible. Please ask
your doctor at your next visit if you are interested in this
program.

How do I access my
physician or provider?
Each
of our physicians works one evening a week and occasional
weekends. We also have additional providers most evenings
and weekends. They treat our patients who have an
illness or injury and need to be seen during these extended
hours. Our extended hours are intended for our established
patients. We also see new patients who would like to join
our practice.

physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant during your visit.
